"all good"
"This was the taxi journey and driver from hell! I will never use this company again. Nor would I recommend. I booked a return journey for three people with hand luggage from Bristol airport to Cardiff for rugby match, I paid up front in full and the terms and conditions clearly stated that the price was all inclusive, no extras and that the driver would meet me at arrivals and take me our car. On arrival our taxi driver was not waiting as stated. I got a phone call via mobile and a garbled message trying to give us directions as to where we should walk to, to get to his car. I had to phone three times to clarify and find him. When we did and we got to the car, the driver just sat in car with engine running. We were left to open the boot and put our cases in ourselves. He then took off out car park whilst inputting our destination into two phones sat navs either side of his steering wheel The journey was meant to take about 50 mins, however due to a bad accident on the bridge we were faced with severe delays. In the end it took nearly three hours which wasn’t the drivers fault i agree, however this delay clearly frustrated him and he proceeded to flick constantly between phones trying to get a better route and effectively drove like a maniac! At times he clipped kerb whilst looking at sat nav, he had us up tiny roads and despite using sat nav he managed to take wrong road three times which meant we had to drive few miles to double back. He constantly was complaining about the journey and on his phone and not paying attention to driving. At one point we caught him doing 100mph on dual carriageway and weaving in and out of lanes. His braking was last minute and at least twice I had to shout out for him to brake as he wasn’t paying attention and nearly rammed back of other cars doing about 70mph We were all basically white knuckled and pressing floor with our feet trying to brake the car. To cap it all, when we got to the bridge he then said we had to pay the toll which was £10. I said it was prepaid and we had a stand-off and eventually he paid it himself whilst muttering and getting on his phone clearly telling whoever what had happened. After what can only be described as a white knuckle ride we eventually got to our hotel and again on arriving he just sat in car and we were left to get our own cases. Yes we are all big guys and capable but service was shocking. Purely as he let my friend use his usb charger and having been much longer than expected I felt obliged to give him a £10 tip before he drove off. On the Monday following I received a call from the company saying they wouldn’t send the driver unless I agreed to pay the bridge toll on way back. I explained re terms and conditions and also fact I actually paid more as I gave him £10 and toll is only £6. They just said I know nothing about the £10. But you just pay. As we obviously had to get back to airport I said fine I will pay return toll and he said they would arrive at 1pm as booked. I despaired when I saw it was same driver again who proceeded to arrive 25mins late with no call informing us of delay. Again he sat on his butt in car but had to get out eventually as boot wasn’t operating properly The return journey was at least less eventful than last, but his driving was still shocking with late braking, speeding and weaving about, as well as yet again taking wrong turn off on motorway causing a loop in our journey. We got to airport. Took our cases and left thankful we had survived!!! He got no tip this time either especially as we gave him the £6 for toll only to find on way back he didn’t actually pay the toll that direction ! What a bunch of total chancers This company and the driver is a total joke and I would never touch them again with a barge pole. I should have paid the extra few quid and went with Dragon taxis or another company but I would not recommend Jamal taxis or minubuses to anyone through Taxicode. Shocking !!!!"
